Project Goal
The P2C project seeks to investigate how ammonia can be produced on the basis of renewable electricity instead of the CO2-intensive production processes that exist today.
A first breakthrough within this project was achieved in the fall of 2020, when researchers at KU Leuven and the University of Antwerp discovered an alternative, innovative and CO2-free production method for ammonia, based on plasma technology.
